Abrasive Blasting
Abrasive blasting sends endless particles into the air. Extractors capture these particles, carefully filtering them to eliminate any traces of steel or metal left behind.
These extractors – along with other DMS collectors, vacuum systems, and processors – are intended for constant usage. They’ve been painstakingly crafted, and their materials can endure the burdens of industrial settings. They prove ideal for a variety of fields and work environments.
DMS team has extensive expertise in the design and installation of Dust Collection Systems in metal surface preparation applications including abrasive blasting, grit/air blasting, shot peening and more.

Thermal and Flame Spray
Because of the various types of thermal spray applications and their effects on the operation of dust collectors, it is important to identify your specific thermal spray operation. Each process involves different shaped and sized particulate along with varying loads. Additionally, strict safety procedures need to be addressed as almost all thermal spray operations can be explosive and/or flammable. Let DMS provide you with expertise in this application and help you to put in a safe dust removal system.
Types of Thermal Sprays:
- Electric Arc Wire (EAW) Spraying
- Powder Spraying
- Electric Arc Spraying
- HVOF
- Plasma Spraying

How Chemical Processing Dust Extraction for Queensland Industry Works
Many industrial processes involving wood, grains, or even metal can create lots of dust and particles in the air. Some types of chemicals can also create by-products, especially fumes. Gas fumes might come from blending or mixing different substances, or even basic...
Why Use Abrasive Blasting Dust Extraction in Western Australia?
Industrial processes tend to produce dust and fumes even when using materials, like metal, that might not be considered heavily dust producing. One of the production methods that can create lots of metal dust is abrasive blasting, which is used to clean off and smooth...
Choosing Equipment for Abrasive Blasting Dust Extraction
Many different types of metalworking processes can produce dust and fumes, much like industrial production using other materials. One way of smoothing and cleaning some metals, especially steel, is abrasive blasting. Along with forced air, it uses heavy abrasive...
The Need for Pharmaceutical Dust Collection in Queensland
Many types of chemical and other industrial manufacturing can produce dust that might become hazardous in a number of ways. Pharmaceutical production can involve a number of unique risks, though, which is why pharmaceutical dust collection in Queensland is important...
Finding the Right Equipment for Pharmaceutical Dust Collection
Using chemicals to manufacture pharmaceuticals can be a difficult process with a lot of risks. Mixing and packaging the chemicals used, among other production steps, can create a variety of dust as well as gas fumes. Depending on the substances used, these can have...
Using Metal Spraying Dust Extraction in Queensland to Protect the Environment
Some forms of industrial metalworking can leave behind dust and fumes as residue. If you’re left with this as part of a process like coating with stainless steel or chrome, it’s important to figure out how you’re going to control the dust and fumes. This is true for...
